Established in 1994 as North Dakota's first non-smoking bar, The Blue Rider takes its namesake from the native German and Russian emigrant impressionist art group, Der Blaue Reiter. It's eccentric decor and laid back vibe makes for an attractive hangout for anyone. Fair prices, free wifi, 16 beers on tap, signature grilled cheese, and friendly service is standard.
